In the name of Allah, most Gracious most Merciful

Alhamdulillah, its weekend and I have some time to blog after nice lunch and coming back from the hospital. Its a new posting for us and this posting is predictably tougher since its the second round of the posting. Expectation is higher from everybody around you and you are expected to PERFORM!

Anyway, enough about the posting. I just want to share why I chose the name of this blog as it is. The reason being that I really like the dawn time. For the days in which I were able to wake up early before dawn and perform 2 rakaah Taubah and Tahajjud prayer really make up my day. Often would I feel extra energetic, more cheerful, less stressed, and insyaAllah calmer. That is why I really like this time.

But, sadly to say now I often woke up after azan....
I cannot let this thing happen. NO! definitely cannot! I have to get back to my usual routine.

'O Lord, here I am, pleading at your door'

Today is all that you have

It took me months before I start blogging again. Alhamdulillah, today is the 3rd Jan 2010 and it is already a whole new year and insyaallah a whole new beginning. Just like the previous years, I dont really make lists of what to achieve this year as I believe as a muslim mu'min I should improve on daily basis. Nevertheless, I did make a few targeted aims in my head and one of them is to seriously start blogging.
It is going to be tough since being a clinical medical student you dont really have time to play around (although honestly I always do that) but Insyallah I take this as a challenge to share and as a reminder to my own self.
Just a reminder to myself before leaving as I quoted from Dont Be Sad:
"Today is my only day"' is one of the most important statements in the dictionary of happiness, for those who desire to live life in its fullest splendor and brilliance.

The past is gone forever, today is all that you have, and leave the future alone until it comes.
Selamat Berjuang di jalan-NYA
